Child and Adolescent Counselling

Life can be difficult for all of us at different times and for our children and adolescents it can be equally as difficult. If counselling is undertaken when problems are noted early young people are helped in many ways. These include assistance in coping with and getting along with others and assisting with decision-making dilemmas. It also provides a safe place to discuss deepest concerns and can assist in the management of self-defeating behaviours, depression and low self confidence.

In counselling young people at Langmont Advantage our aim is to work alongside parents and families, carers and government agencies when necessary so that the children/adolescents we counsel have the best opportunity to enjoy their lives in an emotionally healthy way.
